Phase 1- Information Gathering
Our owner and General Contractor, Chris Cardinale, will come to your house to do a free estimate. While in your home he’ll learn about your vision, budget, and timeline. Within a few days you’ll receive a preliminary estimate with allowances showing what it will take to create the space you’ve been wishing for.
Phase 2 – Design Plan
Once you’ve accepted the preliminary estimate, our Designer, Caroline Wingenbach, will come to your house or meet with you at our Design Studio to talk about your wants and needs for the project and she’ll document and measure the existing space. After meeting and discussing the scope of work, we’ll create a proposal outlining your design needs and associated costs. This could include the following design services: floor plans, elevations, renderings, millwork drawings, and/or detailed selection sheets.
Phase 3 – Preparation
Once the proposal is approved, and final selections have been made, we’ll define the details and record them in a selection sheet and contract. These documents will specify your fixtures, finishes, and construction requirements, showing the items and quantities that will be needed for the job.
Phase 4 – Execution
Cabinet Design Plus’ design/build team can execute the plan from demo to completion. When the building phase begins, we will have coordinated any permits/engineering stamps or inspections required to proceed. We’ll talk about workflow, tool location, staging areas, and schedule as well before work begins. While in your home, our work space will be cleaned up every night, and will be kept behind plastic curtains whenever possible. When the project is nearing completion, we’ll schedule a final project review to go over any outstanding details. And once the project is finished, the work we completed will be backed by a one year satisfaction guarantee.
